Sremski Karlovci

Sremski Karlovci is a town and municipality located in the autonomous province of Vojvodina,Serbia. It is situated on the bank of the river Danube. The town has traditionally been known as the seat of Serbian Orthodox Church, high quality wine Bermet. The town was also the spiritual, political and cultural centre of the Serbs in the Habsburg Monarchy.
